A lower limb wound is not a leg ulcer. There are many causes of lower limb wounds which will be explored in this face to face seminar, including a practical component with compression bandaging and doppler ultrasound. Cost - $180

About the Event
There are many causes of lower limb wounds but we will discuss the most commonly seen – including venous, arterial and mixed disease ulcers. We will explore medical and surgical history and vascular assessment in order to aid in diagnosis. You will identify to classical features of each and then discuss the pathways of management.
Compression therapy is known to be the mainstay for venous disease but did you know it is also able to be used in arterial disease with careful assessment and observation. We will discuss the various types of compression available and what is best used in which scenarios. This will include a practical, hands on session.
