About the Event
This workshop will discuss the common causes for skin tears, ways to prevent and then go on to discuss the various management options. Haematomas can lead to slow to heal wounds and so we have included discussion on these in this workshop- the management can be controversial but we will endeavour to provide the rationales behind the management choices.
We then will tackle the bigger subject of lower leg ulceration- focusing on the 2 main reasons why wounds on lower legs may not heal in a timely response then briefly cover some other reasons for ulcerations on lower limbs.
